This Is The Stupidest Thing I’ve Ever Seen

Here’s an e-mail I sent to these fools…I know it will fall on deaf ears, but I couldn’t stay quiet.

“You all must be out of your freaking minds….You’re all TOTALLY INSANE. I know it would be a waste of my time to explain to you all that “God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world. but that the world through Him would be saved” (John 3:17) so instead I’ll just pity you and mark you down as another group of “Christians” who wouldn’t know God if he walked up to you on the street.

Most Ridiculous Laws

In New York, someone died because they weren’t paying attention, and since there’s no reason to take personal responsibility…lets ban iPods. And while we’re at it, lets ban cell phones too. That makes sense, right?

It sounds like some old guy, who wishes to continue living in the stone age, just wants to make more laws which are a waste of my time.

Will a ban like this make it safer for me to cross the street? No. I’m an adult who knows to look both ways before crossing the street.

I Want To See The Colts Win And JP’s Proposal

I think I’ll refrain from making a prediction, as the last one I made didn’t happen. But I want to see the Colts win. I adore Peyton Manning. I think he’s a class act who deserves a ring.

I’m not a huge NFL fan. To me, college is far more exciting, but I’ve been anxious to see this game because of a commercial I thought would air. A guy, only known as JP, plans to propose to his girlfriend during a $2.5 million commercial slot. He has already filmed the commercial, and the plan is for them to see it while watching the game together at home.

Now after seeing the latest update on MySuperProposal.com it looks like it may not happen.  After building his site, JP received around $75,000 in donations. Obviously, that’s not enough for a Super Bowl ad, but at one point, he thought he’d have a sponsor. It appears that is no longer the case.

I’ll be disappointed if I don’t see it happen. Do I think it’s the ultimate proposal? No. But to them, it would be just that.

I check his site every few days, and I read the most ridiculous comments from people.

One said “I am sorry but there are lots and lots of things that can be done a whole village can be fed in Africa for a year with thsi [sic] money.” Another said “I personal think that this is a big waste of time.”  Get off your soapboxes folks.

Who cares what everyone else thinks? Many have flirted with the accusation that it’s a scam. We live in a cynical world, don’t we? I’m not sure why that idea has not crossed my mind. I think it’s romantic. Regardless of her love for football (gosh, I hope she loves football.) I think she’ll find such an extreme gesture romantic.

Good luck JP. We want all of the details either way!
